This week Helping Hands in Snake Safety was hired to train staff of RAZEL-BEC in Snake awareness and first aid in snakebites. RAZEL-BEC is the contracting firm that was hired by the European Union to conduct the Rehabilitation of the Kariba dam. During their work at the construction site, staff regularly encounter snakes. A mixed group of site workers, supervisors, Health and Safety officers, first aid responders and on-site nurses learned about the dangerous snakes in their area, how to avoid snake bites, snakebite venom and toxicology and first aid measures in snakebite cases.
If you want your staff trained in any snake-related manner, kindly get in touch with us via the contact form on our website.
